A New Season at Junior Rowing News

Junior rowers across the country are settling back into their training routines ready to greet the start of the rowing season. Over the next couple of months every athlete will be focusing on how to put in their best performance over the longer head races while trying to get the most out of their training ready to attack the regatta season head on.

This season at Junior Rowing News we welcome a fantastic new team with the return of some of last year’s writers and also a large intake of new writers. It is the biggest team of writers we’ve ever had, giving us the ability to cover more event whilst matching and exceeding the standard of article which we have become accustomed to seeing since the website was established.

Junior Rowing Results will continue to be an active feature on the website. For each event we preview there will be a set of results to accompany it, making it increasingly easier to access all things junior rowing in one place.

The first event we will be previewing will be Chester Long Distance Sculls which takes place on the 24th September. This will be followed by previews for Wallingford Long Distance Sculls which is on the 30th September. We will be covering most of the same events we’ve covered in previous years with the addition of a few new ones. For each event, there will be coverage across J16-J18 and occasionally J15.

We will continue to be active across all of our social media platforms which will be the easiest way to stay up to date with the articles we have published. Find us on Twitter (@juniorrowing), Instagram (http://instagram.com/juniorrowingnews) and Facebook (@juniorrowingnews).

Good luck to everyone competing this season. We can’t wait to get started and I hope every junior rower feels the same!
