Reigning Champions: Maria Zerboni and Samantha Premerl (Italy)

Entries: 3

Even fewer entries in this event than the men’s LM2- Germany, Italy and the USA. With only three boats that means only gold and silver medals will be awarded.

Germany is represented by Luise Munch and Eva Hohoff. Munch makes her debut in Belgrade, but Hohoff was in the pair that finished third last season and is an U23 silver medallists from the BLW4X in 2021.

Italy’s Serena Mossi and Elisa Grisoni are the reigning U23 BLW2- World Champions and Belgrade will be their first senior competition.

The USA were runners-up in 2022 and has the same crew racing in 2023: Solveig Imsdahl and Elaine Tierney.

Predictions: USA in gold with Italy taking the silver.
