3^rd place in New England Interscholastic Rowing Association Regatta in Boys 1^st Eights

Won Boys 1^st Eights in a private match with Phillips Academy, Boston College High School and Salisbury

3^rd place at the Head of the Schuylkill in Varsity Eights

Won the Brunswick-Tabor Cup and Richard Curtis Cup [Brunswick-Salisbury]

Additional Information

These guys are a good crew with decent pedigree over in the USA. Their result at the NEIRA was a very good one and they were beaten by two decent crews in the form of Andover and Boston College High School. They have a tradition of coming across to race at Henley and have travelled four times in the last six years.

My prediction

Although they are a good crew, the format of US Rowing and their various junior championship events means that it is hard to gauge if Brunswick are genuinely the third fastest junior crew in the USA. Whatever the case, I don’t think they’ll be strong enough to trouble the top British crews; the Friday is as far as I can see these guys progressing.
