JRN are thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with Crew Connection ahead of the 2023/24 season.
After a successful foray into the world of collegiate rowing earlier this year, JRN are pleased to able to expand our coverage of one of the most exciting racing landscapes in the country through The End of The Island podcast.
Founded by Sholto Carnegie ( Yale ’18) and Jack Gosden-Kaye (Cal Berkeley ‘19) Crew Connection is a dedicated team of former-student athletes from prestigious U.S. college programs. With their deep-rooted expertise in the world of rowing and a vast network of connections worldwide, they are here to support prospective students every step of the recruitment journey.
Their personalised approach ensures that junior athletes receive top-notch guidance throughout the recruitment and application process. They work one-on-one with student-athletes, striving to give them the best shot at securing a spot in their dream school’s roster.
This next instalment of the podcast will run up to and including the Head of the Charles Regatta and feature a wide range of athletes and coaches sharing their experiences about life at U.S. universities. The series will pick apart the recruitment process and will see athletes share some of their best stories from studying and racing stateside.
Olympian Carnegie said: “I am really excited to be bringing you this podcast in collaboration with JRN, we have an exciting range of guest with many useful insights to share.
“It’s Crew Connection’s mission to create as many opportunities for young athletes as possible and we hope that this podcast can help inspire rowers on their journey to U.S Universities.”
