The Schools’ Head of the River is underway on the Tideway, with crews covering the course in reverse to The Boat Race.
Provisional live results see St Paul’s School win CH8 by 20 seconds. Shiplake finished second and Eton were third. St Paul’s time of 16:40 is provisionally a record, beating Eton’s 2009 time of 16:47.
Eton are winners of 2nd Eights, and fourth overall – great performance from them. They were only 10 seconds behind their first eight, which bodes well for the summer. If the times are correct, they’ve also smashed their category record – finishing 12 seconds inside.
Bedford School are winners of 1st Eights, and seventh overall. Enniskillen Royal Boat Club – Ireland finish second.
St Paul’s School capped a great day at the office to win Third Eights, demonstrating the remarkable depth of Bobby Thatcher’s program.
Maidenhead win CH4x by 8 seconds over Windsor Boys.
Latymer Upper School take the win in WCH4x, beating out Gloucester Hartpury and Marlow.
Westminster School take a home win in J16 CH8.
Henley beat Headington by 11 seconds in WCH8+.
Norwich School win J16 First Eights.
Big performance from Aberdeen Schools Rowing Association, who win J15 CH8.
Enniskillen Royal Boat Club take the win in Girl’s First Eights – a great day for them!
