Putney High
Putney girls have had a successful last season; getting into last years’ National Schools’ final shows their ability in the eights category, coming fifth. With this event being on their tideway home stretch, I imagine this crew should be victorious.
St Pauls Girls
In the same event as Putney, SPGS came third in the C final, potentially showing they will be the inferior crew coming over a minute slower in their respective finals. However it is has been a while since their last showdown, so I foresee the St Pauls girls crew looking to gain some time off the Putney girls.
Weybridge
Weybridge seem to have less experience in the eights category- not competing in NSR eights last year. I don’t see Weybridge winning this category but with other various small boats performances throughout the season they may surprise us to have some speed in the eight to challenge SPGS. With less racing in this category, it will be interesting to see their results.
