RP3 Rowing, the creators of the RowPerfect Ergo, have partnered with Junior Rowing News to bring the product to a wider audience in the UK.
The partnership begins in November 2017 and will run until December 2018, as RP3 Rowing look to develop the standing and reputation of the Dynamic Ergo in the UK.
Created by Cas Rekers in 1988 as a result of his daughter’s lower back pain, current owner Jan Lammers joined forces with Rekers in 1991 to begin serial production of the RowPerfect Dynamic Ergo.
Today, the RP3 stands as as an endearing tribute to Rekers but also to the engineering and innovation of Lammers and his team in the Netherlands. The growing demand for the RP3 Dynamic demonstrates the effectiveness of the product in both preventing back pain and refining a rower’s technique.
Lammers said: “We can’t wait to work with Junior Rowing News. They’re a leading UK rowing media website and have grown to fill a gap in a niche market. We think we can achieve some really great things by working alongside them and we’re excited to get started.”
Emily Watkins, editor of Junior Rowing News, said: “This is a really exciting partnership for Junior Rowing News. Not only are RP3 at the forefront of the indoor rowing world, but their machine helps to combat back-related injuries in rowers, a plight that is all too common for junior athletes. We’re keen to help RP3 Rowing improve their coverage and widen their audience in the UK.”
