Additional Information
We all know this crews pedigree. They’ve made a recent crew change with Angus Warren moving into the crew for Metropolitan and Marlow Regatta in place of Hugo Coussens. SWB won Elite Quads in spectacular fashion on Saturday while they were only 10 seconds behind Leander’s top quad at the Met. Three of the crew [Fraser, Rufus, Chris] have received invites to GB final trials while two of the crew are Fawley finalists from last year. They are well accustomed to match racing and will be the favourites for the Fawley despite Westminster’s win in CH4x. Rufus Biggs dropped a blade with around 200m to go of the final which led to Borlase’s silver medal- they were leading to this point. Crews like Ridley and Northwich will provide stuff competition but I think Borlase are favourites, particularly with the superb coaching of Robin Dowell.
My Prediction
These boys can win this- no doubt. It’ll be tough but I’m backing Borlase.
