Unlike many of the podcasts born during the Covid-19 lockdowns, The End of The Island has not only survived the return to regular life, but has matured into a thriving show at the beating heart of the rowing world.
Our first season launched April 2020; we were new to the world of podcasting, and our first few episodes were more than a little shaky. Fast-forward over three years, and we’ve transformed into a well-oiled show that highlights the diversity of the rowing world.
Today, alongside our ‘core’ podcast, we publish several mini series including two US-focussed shows – you can learn more about them below.
Our show focuses on discussion between our presenters (they’re below), but we also hear regularly from well-known guests.
We’ve had discussions with the likes of five-time Olympic gold medalist Sir Steve Redgrave, World Rowing Executive Director Vincent Gaillard, Olympic Champion Grace Predergast, Yale Head Coach Steve Gladstone, and many, many more…
Supported by our Title Sponsor and Partner – WinTech Racing – our podcast is heard by rowers in over 100 countries.
You can listen to The End of The Island wherever you get your podcasts.
See you there
